We know from our first ever blog with Julie just how full-time and full-on running JDStudio is! If you are a regular studio-attendee then you will know that the studio has just had a weeks closure... So just how does our studio owner spend the week when the studio is shut? We asked Julie to enlighten us on what she got up to in the recent break from her studio duties!

Good Friday was spent washing teddies, scarves and pompoms (Hmmm...Sounds like studio work to me!)  as well as some housework... I picked up my new glasses and managed to fit in a pub lunch with family as well as a quick new-glasses-selfie!
Saturday
Clean all studio floors so they are super shiny! Meeting with potential hirer (hmmm more studio work, Ju this doesn't sound like a week off!) shopping, and met up with a very dear  friend for a catch up and a curry!
Easter Sunday
Funday – football for cancer charity event! My son was playing so the whole family went to support, my grandson met the Easter bunny and we ended the day with family and friends back at my house and all ordered take away

Monday
A morning full of Admin but a very random game of afternoon bingo with my mum at a local bingo hall where I won on the full house but unfortunately had to split it 3 ways and then again with my mum leaving me a grand total of £3.33. The late afternoon/early evening was spent making posters, graphs and pie charts for the business, to see where we are at.
Tuesday/Wednesday
A short break away in Glastonbury where my partner and I went Glamping in a pod, we walked for miles... we visited quaint villages and even the beach. In the evenings we sat outside our pod with a fire burning. A very relaxed few days away :)
Thursday
We travelled back slowly very slowly ( we got lost) but we had an adventure and that night I met up with some friends for good ole catch up and tapas.
Friday was back to work!  All in all, balance is how I would explain my week off!
So there we have it! A week off in the life of Julie! After just a few short days off we are back to business as usual at JDStudio! Xx
