With Halloween just a couple of days away and the competition just days after that we decided to so a scary themed blog! We let the girls have free reign this week to let us know what scares them, or just to give us something spooky and aerial themed!
Read on down for an extra special scary story from Lexi! Watch out for our Monday Montage on Halloween to see all of our creepy prop-filled fun! Two weeks away! To finish off our week talking about injuries we have a rather morose montage This week the girls are chatting about injuries. Whether it's just a bruise or something that definitely 100% needs amputation, pole (and hoop) can easily lead to people getting hurt. As with any active hobby, you need to be really careful when training! Now let's hear from the girls! Time for another video montage! Things are getting more serious now we are in the last few weeks of our training Where will we be in a year's time? What do we want to accomplish? This week we asked the girls what their long term goals for pole and hoop were!
Only a few weeks away from the competition now, if you want to come and support us don't forget to buy tickets! A little progress every day adds up to big results... This week we are looking at progressions from when we were pole/hoop newbies. Enjoy! Once again as Hannah was away we have let her off her homework, don't worry she will be back next week!!
This week we decided to ask our competitors (all six of them!) either to write a letter to themselves starting pole or to describe to us what advice they would give to people thinking about starting pole or complete beginners! Most of us have been posting in the love your pole challenge which was a fun way to show how much we enjoy our hobbies! This week reading through what the others had written had me with tears in my eyes! We are like a little pole family <3
We are so excited to announce that our team has grown! A space has opened up in the beginner hoop category that is being filled by our very own Sami Kanza! I did threaten to make Sami film 8 weeks worth of video footage but I decided to let her off since she has enough work to do!
Past the halfway point now! Things are getting serious! Watch our week |
