Covid-19 Policies & Updates
Latest Update: 19/09/2021
Classes have now gone back up in numbers, and the studio is buzzing! Masks are no longer mandatory, although you are more than welcome to bring one. We are still trying to be mindful of numbers of people congregating etc., especially in reception. There are still enhanced cleaning protocols in place, and the use of hand sanitiser is encouraged.
Generally parent's cannot stay and watch classes, this has always been a rule in most classes.
Due to the recent change in self-isolation rules, school age children and adults who have been double vaccinated no longer have to self-isolate following close contact. If you are unsure please contact us and/or check out the .gov website.

Since the government announcement on the 10th of May gave the green light to proceed with the next stage of restriction easing in England, we have been busy preparing for return to group classes on the 17th of May!
Many (but not all) group classes are returning back from the 17th of May. Please do check Facebook, contact the individual school you are with or looking to join, and if in doubt, drop us an email.
Please make sure you bring a mask, and all pick up/drop offs will be socially distanced - parents you MUST come to front of the studio to pick up your child but generally we may not be able to allow parents in the building.
Track & Trace is still in place, plus we are keeping registers of all bookings, classes, attendees, instructors and 1:1 appointments and bookings to ensure we can manage the contacts in the (hopefully unlikely) event of an outbreak involving anyone at the studio.
Limits are in place on all studios for capacity, and we have lots of rules in place regarding touch points, equipment sharing and cleaning so if you are in any doubt please just ask!

We have been working very hard behind the scenes to ensure the studio meets all the Government Guidelines, we are taking our responsibility to the public extremely seriously.
General: All of our re-opening plans are consistent with the core public health guidance regarding health, hygiene, social distancing and safe workplace guidelines. As a multi-use venue we have everything in place as in accordance with the infection protection and control measures. We are following the guidance set out in the protective measure for out of school settings guidance and the guidance on sports and leisure facilities. As we teach the under 5's community we are also in accordance with the early years and childcare providers during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
Cleaning & Ventilation: We are following the advice set out in the guidance for cleaning non-healthcare settings. and the guidance on air conditioning and ventilation during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. We have increased our cleaning frequency, particularly in high traffic areas and touch points. The studio has been, and is regularly fogged, with certification. The C.O.S.H.H folder has been updated to include any new cleaning substances. Class times are now staggered to allow for cleaning.
Social Distancing: The studio has been electronically measured and can allow 54 bodies in the whole building at one time, this now means there is no waiting area. Studios have been assessed and measured to allow 2m distancing in accordance with government guidelines. There is a new socially distanced pick up area outside the studio. Any class using equipment will be done so with no sharing 1 person per piece of equipment, with equipment used being cleaned between use or quarantined if it is not a wipe-down item. The staggering in class times also allows for a more socially distanced entry/exit.
Paperwork & Documentation: Risk assessments are reviewed annually and the Covid-19 specific risk assessment is under constant review. All instructors and hirers are made aware of the studio's Covid-19 Policies & Procedures, which again, are reviewed on any new guidance. There is a specific procedure in case of an outbreak. There are posters and information sheets on the notice boards.
PPE & Visitor Responsibilities: PPE Considerations have been made. There are electronic hand sanitisers in Reception and outside all 3 studios. Track & Trace is in place with the QR code available to be scanned, and/or there is a sign in sheet on reception for visitors to sign in.
